VINTAGE EMILIO PUCCI - PEACOCK PATTERN- JUST LIKE MARILYN'S! 

A RARE RARE FIND!  Authentic Emilio Pucci vintage 1960's dress.  Brilliant colors, bubble gum pink, lime green, black, brown -
the pattern has always been referred to as the "Peacock Dress" -
Dress is shift style with a boat neck.  Dress was made in Italy exclusively for Neiman Marcus.  Marilyn Monroe wore an exact
dress - same maker - this would be your perfect perfect item to be in a prized Marilyn Monroe collection - framed and matted
with a picture of Marilyn in her dress.  It was 1962 and Marilyn wore her dress to her trip to Mexico.  While there there are photos of
Marilyn wearing in her dress at an orphanage.  This dress is not Marilyn Monroe's - this dress is made of the nylon/jersey type
material - to body hug in all the right places.  The dress originally came with a fabric belt with beaded tassle/like fringe.  This
does not have the belt.   The dress is in poor condition.  There were many repairs made along the way to preserve this rare and
fabulous historical look!  The dress is sheer and has a few wholes.  There are areas under the arms as pictured where repairs where
made.  The dress is marked a size 14.  Here are the approximate measurements

remember the dress is basically shapless - just about straight down - shift style. 
The dress is sold as is - no returns.  The reserve is several hundred dollars below what I bought it for about 10 years ago
it has been properly wrapped and stored,  The flaws are there as stated and should not detract from being framed as a
