Val Doonican (born Michael Valentine Doonican, 3 February 1927, Waterford, Ireland) is an Irish singer. From 1965 to 1986 he was a regular fixture on the BBC Television's schedule with The Val Doonican Show, which featured his own singing performances and a variety of guest artists. A notably relaxed crooner, Doonican had 5 successive Top 10 albums in the UK Albums Chart in the swinging sixties.
* regarding WLP
Generally promo copies of LPs were the first made from the stampers and in some cases were made using higher quality vinyl than the commercial pressings. The designation WLP the label may or may not be white, but will somewhere say promotional copy printed on the label. WLP copies are limited pressings and sought out by collectors and audiophiles for their superior sound quality.

VINYL GRADING
based on Goldmine grading, but stricter (ie, my idea of VG is actually VERY GOOD)
SS - New, still sealed
NM - Like New, no visible signs of wear, no spindle marks.
EX - Almost like new, may have very light spindle marks or very minor scuffs. Cover may have very light ringwear or minor dings.
VG - Not bad, may have light scratches or marks on cover.
