This is a 14" mahogany plaque of the USS George H W Bush "Ship's Seal". The plaque has been boldly autographed in black sharpie by President Bush during our private signing session on April 2, 2012.

Only two of these plaques were signed during our visit and one of them resides in a private collection
 There are very few if any of these significant plaques autographed and only 1 available here!!

President Bush has a special place in his heart for the ship, it's crew and this incredible honor

Comes with our beautiful Certificate of Authenticity and tamper-evident hologram

The ship's seal is explained as follows:

Each element of the ship's seal is significant for it's relevance to the ship's namesake- George H W Bush, naval aviation, naval service and our great nation. There are 6 prominent features of the seal beginning with the 41 white stars that honor the nation's 41st. President. Rays of light that appear on the seal's horizon represent George Bush's concept of a thousand points of light. He urged us to find meaning and reward by serving a purpose higher then ourselves, to imbue the timeless ideas of duty, sacrifices, commitment and patriotism that finds expression in taking part and pitching in. The crew of the CVN-77 stands ready every day and takes pride in pitching in.

The graphic depiction of the aircraft carrier reflects the carrier as both a symbol and instrument of Americas strength as a "force for good". Bridging the past, present and future of naval aviation are the overhead profiles of a TBM Avenger, a F-18 Hornet Strike Fighter and a F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. George Bush was the second youngest naval aviator and flew a TBM Avenger during WWII.

The fouled anchors and shields, as seen centered on naval aviator wings, honor the ship's namesake and his aviation history. The ship's motto is "Freedom At Work"
