WHAT IS IT? This is an unfinished raw wood speaker cabinet for project ready for you to finish the way you want. You can use a stain, woodfinish, tolex, or paint. Speaker, tolex, grill cloth, handle, and feet are NOT INCLUDED.

CONSTRUCTION: This is a brand new pre-assembled tweed styled 1 x 15 speaker cabinet for project professioanlly handcrafted in my U.S.A. shop. Features boutique quality dovetailed select pine. WHY PINE? Some early amps and cabs were made from pine and are still sought after for their warm fat tone. Pine resonates more easily than hardwoods or plywood and has a warm top end with big beefy mids and lows.

BAFFLE AND REAR PANEL: The baffle board is made from rigid 1/2" void free furniture grade birch plywood. The speakers load in from the rear (rear loading). T-nuts are pressed in and the screws are included. The baffle can be removed and covered with grill cloth. I included some photos showing the baffle removed then reinstalled with the grill cloth attatched. There is no need for an additional grill frame. The rear panel is a convertible 3 piece design allowing for closed back or opened back operation. For even more tonal flexibilty, the very bottom panel can be removed for a 2/3rd opened back (see above photos).

ALL WIRED UP: Comes with 14 gauge wire soldered to a 1/4" switchcraft jack and jack dish with spade connectors attached. All ready to hook up your speakers. NOTE: Buyer is responsible for proper hookup and ohms matching to your amplifiers output.

NOTE: Other hardware, handle, grill material, or speaker are NOT included and buyer is responsible for proper hookup and ohms matching to your amp(s). Will require some finish sanding for staining, varnishing, or oiling. These look pretty sharp with a natural tung oil finish or you can cover it with tolex/vinyl. Outside dimensions are 20" wide by 20" high by 11" deep. Will be securely packaged with edge and corner protection and heavy duty bubble wrap. I can get these ready for shipping within 3 - 5 business days after cleared payment.
