Brand new Tumbleweed Tiny House constructed by volunteers from Lathrop Construction in Toledo, Ohio for the Toledo Museum of Art's Small Worlds exhibition. At 65 square feet, the house is the smallest plan available from the Tumbleweed Tiny House company. The house has been on display at the Toledo Museum of Art since November and will sell at auction to raise funds for children's educational programming at the museum. The house sits on a custom 7x10 ft. heavy duty trailer that comes with the home. It also has been furnished by build partner The Andersons and all furnishings sell with the home including a mini fridge. The home includes a sleeping loft with queen size mattress, a functional bathroom with shower, a kitchenette, and a living area. The Tumbleweed Tiny House company estimates that the price of its XS model fully constructed is $38,997.
This home has RV style hookups for water and electrical but does not have an attached sewer tank. Bathroom would need to be hooked up to an exterior sewer system or have a sewer storage tank added. Outdoor access steps and a ball hitch are included. Terms The Tiny House is sold "as is" with no warranties. Buyer may pay in cash, certified check or major credit card. Payment arrangements must be made within 24 hours of the close of the auction with the Museum's chief financial officer. The buyer must arrange for transport of the home; the Museum will not deliver. The Museum will move the home to street level for pickup with two weeks advance notice. |
