Tudor SCA Boleyn Renaissance Dress gown costume CUSTOM

Feast your eyes on these magnificent representations of an era long gone past. This gorgeous example of a renaissance court gown is decked to the hilt with rich detail as well as beautiful accessories. This complete costume includes in detail the following:

Grace the Faire court in this Queen Anne Boleyn styled renaissance gown.

-The colors & fabrics on this outfit create an absolutely stunning Tudor Court ensemble; here are the basics of this a 4-piece outfit. The main materials used are a rich upholstery fabric with a elegant diamond pattern, crushed or simple velvet, shimmering gold fabric, and broadcloth/muslin. The classic, conically shaped bodice is lined in broadcloth/muslin and heavily boned (15 pieces!!) providing support as well as helping to keep the proper shape. Buttons (different than pictured) and handbeaded clusters alternate along the graceful velvet neckline. Each dramatic sleeve starts with the main fabric and then ends in a gorgeous bell of the velvet with a little bit of solid fabric peeking out from the inside. Each sleeve can easily detach from the bodice by the lacings and brass grommets or hidden lacings. The bodice closes in back with lacing and grommets as well as a modesty panel.

-The over 3 yard inch circum. skirt sports the same sturdy diamond patterned fabric as the bodice and is split in front with black velvet edging. The skirt is pleated to the waistband and closes in front with lacing loops and cotton cording.

-The underskirt features broadcloth/muslin with a coordinating panel in front and a drawstring waistband.

- This is a very rich and ornate gown fit for anyone of nobility, especially those who want something with unique coloring and elaborate attention to detail!

Headpiece- We have included a matching French hood. This special piece features a wired, heavy buckram base overlaid in black velvet, handbeaded gold glass pearls around the outer edge, pleated attached coif and a long gold chiffon veil (veil color dependant on chiffon available at the time and main color choice).This is original an Matti's Millinery head piece made specifically for this outfit and designed after Tudor/Elizabethan headpieces. A $100 value! 

Chemise- Also included in this stunning outfit is an undyed muslin, waist length undershirt with drawstring neckline and cuffs. A $30 value!  

Jewelry- What court gown would be complete without jewelry! The famous Boleyn "B" necklace and a long chain and pendant are both included. Created by us MMC. A $35 value!
