If you are willing to go to a little trouble to convert from sugar or artificial sweeteners and from regular flour to alternatives, then this is the best book you could get. It's LOADED with excellent recipes from every category and they are laid out so well it's easy to read and follow them. It's also loaded with all kinds of gorgeous photos. After I got this cookbook, I cleaned out the rest of my older cookbooks and gave them away! That's just how good this one is!

Not too happy with special ingredients called for in recipes. I guess it’s just another way to get you to purchase things from them. Also prefer natural ingredients rather than ingesting fake chemical laden goods. However, some of the recipes look interesting and so you potentially could see weight loss following their plan. It is just not for me. I do not think recipes are that healthy when they contain processed and unnatural ingredients.

My husband and I have tried pre-packaged diets with chemical-tasting foods over the years. I hated reading the labels!! We did attain weight-loss, but the programs were expensive, bad-tasting and the weight always creeped back on, anyway. Frustrating!! The THM plan (outlined in detail in their other book) finally made SENSE. This cookbook is PACKED full of amazing recipes. It is easiest to order several products from their website, but there are also many for which you need no special ingredients - just what you can get at the store. I found it most rewarding to order several of their food products. But again, they are relatively inexpensive, many organic, and REAL foods.
