• A streamlined triangular mallet head shape new to the 2 Ball lineup. It features alignment lines to go with the 2 Ball design • The White Ice multilayer insert has been tuned to enhance responsiveness and consistency • The inner core is 19 percent firmer to enhance feel and is also 92 percent stiffer for better resiliency • The face surface has been roughened to enhance the sound at impact with softer golf balls • Tour inspired weight ports in the sole optimize the putter head with the shaft length • Dark Nickel Finish Creates a rich look that reduces glare

About the Manufacturer
Based in Carlsbad California as part of the Callaway Golf Company, the Odyssey brand of putters first entered the scene in 1990 and has been bringing new product innovations ever since. Beginning in 1991 with their “mallet” putters, featuring resilient material inserts called “stronomic” In the following years Odyssey’s Tour popularity increased dramatically to become the “#1 Putter in Golf” 1995 saw 300 top 10 finishes on the PGA TOUR for Odyssey. Among their most recognized design innovations to date are the 2 Ball White Hot putter and the DFX.

Item Details: 

 

Your looking at a Tour Issue Odyssey White Hot PROTOTYPE Putter. This putter was custom made specifically for one tour pro who liked the look of the #2 style head but wanted a plumbers neck. I've never seen another one like it as Odyssey never produced this model. The head style is similar to the Odyssey White Hot #2, but instead of having the short slant hosel, it has an plumbers neck that sets between the heel and center of the head. Also, the sole is naked, no model.

The putter shows signs of seeing typical course play with the typicall light marks found to the head. The sole has been polished to try and remove some of the small scratches from the head.
