10/10 - Brand new, could still be in plastic, no indication of use.  May have golf shop wear on sole.

9.5/10 - Mint, looks almost new, a few light hit marks present, no noticeable scratches.

9/10 - Used, but only light use showing, original finish intact, grooves deep, light wear on face and sole, grip and shaft in very good condition, looks near new.

8.5/10 - Wear/use is obvious, but no dings, nicks or deep scratches.  Does not look new, but well taken care of.  Grip and shaft may have slight wear.

8/10 - Item in overall good shape. Definitely used, but not abused.  Bag wear may be present, tiny nicks or light scratching can be seen.  No dings or dents unless otherwise stated, grooves in good to fair shape with wear on face.

7.5/10 - Clearly shows frequent use, head may show bag wear, nicks or paint chips may be present, grooves may be thinning, but definitely playable, wear on face, soles will have scratches and some chrome loss may be present, played with frequently.

7/10 - Well used, light abuse with dings or rock marks, still playable, but signs of age/use showing. Grooves are thinning, but still playable.

6/10 - Club not in good shape, thin grooves, may need to be re-grooved, soles have dings, dents may be present.  Club is still very playable.
