Wedge Set (two club heads) Titleist | Vokey | 54 deg Sand Wedge & 58 deg Lob Wedge | club-heads only | New Black Oxide refinish | Spin Milled | Custom Paint Fill | Pre-2010 groove patter/tons of spin potential | This auction is for two Right Handed (RH) club heads only. These models are the Titleist Vokey Spin Milled series: SM-54.10 & SM-58.08 models. (pre-2010 groove patter/tons of spin potential) These club heads sports moderate levels of bounce-sole angle for golfers needing versatile playability from their wedges. These models achieve excellent spin control across variable turf conditions. The hosel fits to a .355 hosel id. These club heads have been professionally re-finished with the Black Oxide treatment, custom white all around paint fill. These club heads are devoid of any scratches, dings or gouges. Grooves are sharp-mint. Faces are near-perfect. This is my favorite color scheme for a Vokey. The black white combo is simple but very classy and gives plenty of shaft-grip color combinations. Shaft-Golf Ball Fitting suggestions: A great opportunity to have your local club maker/fitter match these model heads to a new technology wedge spin/launch tuned shafts that fits your swing dynamics. Please visit a professional club fitter-maker and get your proper shaft fitting. In addition, find a driving range/pro-shop/retail shop that performs golf ball fitting (spin rates, launch & ball flight stats) for the proper ball you need to play. This only enhances the capabilities of a professional caliber club such as a Vokey. Cleaning suggestions: This Black Oxide treated club head is very soft in feel and needs to be cleaned properly. Personally, I use a oil cloth like the ones used to clean Cameron putter heads. Oxidation (causes rust) can occur if the club head is left damp so you want to dry accordingly. Remember, environmental conditions affect carbon steel golf clubs. Your course(s) that you play may be overly fertilized and again, this is all the more reason to clean these beautiful club heads accordingly. One recommended cleaning process is to wipe with a silicone cloth after the clubs are cleaned and dry. IF you do not have a silicon cloth, you could use a soft dry cloth with baby oil to wipe the club head down. Personally, I prefer a Scotty Cameron oil cloth but the baby oil works well also.
