Pair of new replacement/upgrade 36" phono cables for Thorens TD-160, 145, 165, 166, and possibly others.

I specialize in restoring vintage turntables, specifically Linn, AR and Thorens.  For years I have been using these exact cables to replace the original cables in Thorens units when replacing just the RCA plugs is not enough. When I first purchased these, I spent time searching for a cable that offered a combination of value and performance.  Due to the nature of turntables, not just any cable will do.  These are extremely well shielded and low capacitance.  In addition, they are flexible.  As you would expect, these offer superb noise rejection, they exceed all audio industry standards, and the RCA's are very nice quality with gold plating to resist oxidation.  

Installation will require soldering, sometimes in tight spaces.  I would classify it as a medium level do-it-yourself project.  Please note I have stripped the phono ends for easier installation in your Thorens turntable. Also note the cables are slightly larger in diameter than the original cables, so plan for that modification as you install them.
