Excellent recipe collection
Too many excellent recipes to count. The lemon chicken is always a picnic smash hit, and the buttermilk lemon cake is one of my favorite cakes ever and I usually only want anything chocolate. I will definitely make chicken marbella well into my future and they have an excellent range of classic salad recipes. Don't buy any other year - 1982 is the bees knees. :)

I purchased this book after actually sampling many of the fabulous recipes at a local caterer in our summer resort of Grand Bend. Barbara is such a great chef, and as I'm always looking for recipes that won't keep me chained to the kitchen but will "WOW" my friends and family, this book is a MUST HAVE. It uses pure, fresh ingredients that are easy to prepare, provides suggested menu ideas and is loaded with cooking and entertaining hints. TWO THUMBS UP!!

Perfect Replacement
This purchase was a perfect replacement for my very old and tattered copy of Silver Palate, which had been my go-to cookbook for decades. My copy was so well-used and well-loved the pages were separating from the binding. I couldn't go wrong with the bargain pricing as well as the free shipping. My kind of shopping for sure!
