Tim Burton’s very personal book of poems accompanied with drawings is something no fan should be without. Some of these are reproductions of Tim’s past Christmas cards though one would not be able to tell. While tragic and often bizarre, with a flair for the macabre, this tome gives one a profound insight to the authors heart and mind. Wonderfully printed and carefully produced, I can’t recommend this book highly enough.

This book is exactly what I expected. A very twised story about very twisted characters. Some die horribly gruesome deaths, others find love . . . . and then die horribly gruesome deaths. But, this book has some great pictures, and stories. Although I would not recommend reading this to children. This book is like reading Shel Silverstein in a cemetary during a lightning storm. These little tales have Tim Burton written all over them. With characters like 'Brie Boy' and 'Roy the Toxic Boy,' one can't help but wonder how fun Tim must have had as a child. So, in conclusion, if you are a big Tim Burton Fan, you will love this. If you are not, I would suggest borrowing it from someone else before purchasing, to make sure it is something that you can swallow without crying.
Being a fan of Tim Burton, this dark and humorous poetry book is a must. The poems range from plain hilarious to real life tragedies. Every Burton, poetry, or dark humor fan will greatly enjoy this book. The only negative is the incredibly short length of the book, but the hand-drawn pictures drawn by Burton himself make up for the lack of pages.
This definitely isn't the Nightmare before Christmas, or Beetle Juice, it's darker than I thought, so not exactly recommended for children, but I loved this book and the illustrations. If you love Tim Burton, I highly recommend adding this to your collection.
