My parter and I responded to his diagnosis of high blood pressure with a new diet and this new cookbook. All our meals now are prepared from this cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow and most important, very tasty! We are not missing our higher sodium and fat foods and look forward to trying out a new recipe. The past month his blood pressure has gone down to normal and we are hopeful that staying on this diet the doctor will take him off his medication! We highly recommend this cookbook for anyone with hypertension or folks just wanting a healthier way of preparing and enjoying meals!
No pictures of any meal to prepare. Looks does and says a lot when dating or wanting to eat. When meals planning is unfamiliar it a good idea to have what its suppose to look like. The book is incomplete without pics of the meals is my opinion.

I would'nt even consider this a Diet Book; it should have been called a life style cookbook. The recipes in this book are excellent with great tips for anyone with Type I or II Diabetes or just trying to lose weight. It's a great addition to anyones Cookbook Collection.
