The stories of criminal cunning and trickery in Abagnale's book "The Art of the Steal" are absolutely fascinating, and the advice he gives is advice well heeded. Abagnale's writing style is fluid and easy to follow, and I had no trouble knocking this book off in one evening. I suspect that a few of the things he talks about (like computer crime) are a bit dated, but that's no fault of his since this book was published in 2002. I read this book some months ago and have become a far more careful consumer, and I'm thankful that this book allowed me to react "proactively" and not "reactively". I highly recommend this book for anyone with a bank account, credit card, debit card or check book.
This book is a must for everyone. I stumbled apon it one day when I was in the business section of Boarders book store. This book will show you how to protect your self and business against scams and conartist. Frank say in his book why should the criminals be the only one privileged to this information. To know how to stop it from happening to you or your Business you must understand how to do it. I just found out he has another book out about Identity theft if it is as good as this book it would be a must read book as well. Enjoy YourPerfectFit
