This is a bass pedal with very nice adjustable EQ & memory bank. Tone adjustments are so easy & you can save it quickly for use according to the type of music you want to use it to. After looking at several YouTube videos, I decided to buy this one & it never disappointed me. Have one & witness it yourself first hand!

Every time I plugged this into my Tech 21 Bass DI, it created a great amount of noise in the audio. It is possibly that it is endemic of this particular product and version (or my particular unit) of the Bass DI, so I can't say conclusively that it will be a problem for you. For the price, it may be worth the gamble to find out.

The Good: Most everything you read about in the reviews - sound, ease of use, functionality, flexibility, etc. The Bad: (1) The XLR out maxes at 0 dB, which means that you have to find a way to goose the signal to +4 dB if you want to record directly into a pro recorder. (2) Sans Amp should include a DC power source in the deal, rather than have the owner either (a) use a 9v battery (ugh) or (b) try to guess what kind of power source to buy (and what size insert connection).

Great pedal, have wanted one for a while. Can get a pretty good tone for bass taking the DI straight into a computer or PA, can use it to take a dry signal for reamping guitar or bass, can load it in front of a bass amp to tweak a really properly good distorted bass tone. Delivery was quick and price was great.

What can I say, from the small amount of pedals I own this is the only one that gets used all the time (I never turn it off). Just this week I left my pedals at the rehearsel room so I had to plug my guitar straight into my amp and I just stopped playing cause my bass sounded so dull ... lifeless ... In my ears this pedal really brings my rig to life: when switching it on I can immediately get that deep and punchy mid ranged sound (it does cut some mids but I compensate this by adding a 3-4dB boost in the low-mid section), whenever this pedal is on my solid-state amp sounds like a tube amp, incredible (ofcourse it's not the real thing but man what a difference!). Another thing it does is bring my other effects to life: when I run my Little Big Muff without the BBDI it sounds very 'superficial' but when the Sansamp is on it roars! If this were stolen or if it broke down I would certainly buy a new one or upgrade to the 3 selector version.Read full review
