TaylorMade's V Steel fairway woods exceptional distance is the product of two factors: (1) the club's high-strength, 455 steel clubface and (2) its precisely positioned CG, computer-located to produce a medium-high trajectory, is ideal for maximum workability and optimum yardage.  Also, the sole design minimizes the area that comes into contact with the ground, diminishing turf-resistance so that more power is imparted to the ball and the cluhead glides squarely through impact instead of slowing and/or twisting.
