Made with the Authentic TAYLOR MADE R9 Sleeve from. Aftermarket Sleeves are NOT machined properly and are NOT bored at the correct angle to get the Taylor Made's patiented FCT Flight Control Technology. The Real Taylor Made sleeves are few degrees at an angle on the tip and that is how you can rotate the shafts position and get the different loft, lie, open and closed Face angles. If you purchase any shaft or sleeve setup make sure it is a Real Taylor Made Sleeve, otherwise your shaft configuration features FCT (Flight Control Technology) will not work. MORE ABOUT THE SHAFT: This Tour Series shaft was made by Mitsubishi Rayon for Taylor Made. Mitsubishi part # STO95-WX-1A Taylor part # 833568 MAS2 65 SHAFT TS The shaft was originally made for the R5 Hundred Series. The R5 logo is covered up with the bottom of the grip. The shaft plays stiffer than a normal stiff so you can call it Tour Stiff or Xtra Stiff. I do not know the exact torque rating but I can tell it is low.
