I needed something that was easy to play, I like its looks and feel. I was surprised to find one for sale. Most stores have been sold out. Sure glad I found one. Very good quality for the price. Tacoma makes a great guitar, even though it's made in Mexico. I'll be adding an amplifier soon. It was very close to being in tune out of the box. The gig bag is handy.

Its not at all like I thought it would be. The guitar in itself looks nice but then it gets complicated. I really thought owning a top make would be nice but no! I have had more fun playing my old Minstral then this BBT.

this is a great, inexpensive beginner or intermediate level guitar. it has a small modern c shape neck that feels like one on an electric guitar. I had a set/up done at my local guitar shop (not guitar center) with 9's and adjusted to the lowest possible action with minimal fret buzz. it's a great player now with the clarity and volume of a bigger guitar. check it out for yourself, taylor hit it outta the park on this one. inexpensive enough that you can take it with you where ever you go. I just love this thing.

Amazing guitar -- I much prefer this to the GS mini which I've also owned. The GS was more smooth sounding and harder to tune and keep in tune. The Big baby is a fan favorite as my brother also owns one. We love them. Big baby has a much more raw and steely sound, which I love. It is definitely great for the country tunes that I adore so much. The only thing I like more about the GS mini was the case. Both come with backpack cases, however, this Big Baby case just seems a little more flimsy.

I'm 59 years old with over 45 years of playing experience . I made the switch to solo Acoustic last year and decided to go with this one because of the weight and the feel of the neck . Plus, it just exudes tone in spades . This like all Taylors though , are very succeptable to changes in the humidity so it's a great idea to keep it humidified when you're not using it , which I do. I did opt to buy a Silver Creek vintage style HS case which fits this guitar like a glove and will protect it much better from the humidity than the stock gig bag which comes with it. I've had mine since August of 2017 and I can't see myself playing anything else now but Taylor .
