Here is a well-worn, played hard, most definitely used guitar. This one was owned by one of our favorite “local legends” for about the last 12 years or so. It is a 1999 510-ce and believe me when I say this is a used guitar. It has many dings, dents, gouges, and scratches. There is a pretty major ding, right on the top of the guitar, that goes all the way to the wood. There is a crack coming from that dent as well. This all being said, and in a testimony to the quality of Taylor Guitars, this thing sounds like a million bucks. It plays great and sounds as good as any acoustic/electric in the shop. The crack has been there for a long time and has not gotten any worse, so other than cosmetics and aesthetics, I wouldn’t worry about it. This one has the Fishman Prefix Onboard Blender ( for all of you anti-Expression System types) and it works perfectly. This is minimal, minor fret wear and you won’t need to have any work done to this guitar at all before you take it out and gig with it. That’s what it has been used for all these years and that’s what this one is for. The original Taylor hard case is included. Thanks.
