You can take advantage of this set according to your fitness level. I'm only using the "Advanced" tape because the other ones are fairly easy for me but they can be excellent for a beginner. It is worth evey penny. The steps are easy and well explained; the instructor keeps you motivated throughout the session.
I had this product years ago and just moved on to other products. This year, after having a third child, I decided to do the original Tae Bo again as it worked well for me after my 2nd child was born. I love this product and wanted to try it again. (I did try the newer boot camp versions and hated them). The only downfall is they seem to only be available on VHS. I would have preferred DVD.
I lost my original box set and recently purchased it again. It is the only workout video that I have ever continued to use and actually liked. I usually turn the sound off and play some of my own music, since their's is a bit outdated. Otherwise, great cardio during the winter months when I can't (or don't want to) go outside.
I have used this set before- it helped me get in shape quickly and was fun. I am buying another set because I wore out one of the tapes. I would recommend. It starts with important basics of form and safe movement and works up to quite a workout.
I had been looking for the original Tae Bo set for a while and did not want to pay retail for it. I am not very coordinated which makes the newer versions harder to keep up with. I get the same cardio with the old as with the new with less frustration. The price was right for the set and it was in near perfect condition, just as it was advertised. I am very pleased with it!
