A must read
As a small engine Master Service Technician and a STIHL certified Master Technician (Gold Level), I am constantly on the look out for new service publications. Being familiar with Paul Dempsey's other works I decided to take a look at his book on two cycle. This book is well written, easy to understand and well illustrated. A must read for anyone interested in two-stroke engine repair. This book will not make you a Master Tech. But for a entry level tech. or someone who just wants to figure out why their weedeater won't start, it will give you a good grounding in two cycle theory and basic repairs. This book is so well done I plan on using it as a teaching aid for my two cycle classes.

lots of good information on testing 2 stroke engines. I have already learned some very helpful hints. How to check different things, and when to send it to the scrap yard. highly recommend to have if working on 2 stroke engines.
