I bought Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent (Limited Collectors Edition)in Febuary of this year. I had played the first two Splinter Cell games, and was very impressed with them. They were very fun, all around great games of this type to play. I love first person shooters with a great story line and a little role playing thrown in, and this new Splinter Cell Double Agent was highly rated as the first two. This one had a new twist, this time the "good guy" is playing a double agent, or is he just pretending?. This game was very engrossing to play, and I usually found myself playing far longer than I wanted to at any given time. I actually found nothing negative about this game. It was just as described, with many choices to be made..which path did I want to take, and the overall gameplay was excellent. The main reason I bought this game on Ebay is easy. I checked at my local "game store" and the price was $69.00. Here i got it for $29.00 plus shipping of course, which wasn't much. Not a very hard choice to make.Read full review
The game design is still familiar on the surface. Double Agent is still by and large a traditional stealth game. You'll sneak around, break necks, stab thugs in the chest, snipe, explode, pummel, and beat them. It's all in a good day's work for Sam Fisher. But by giving gamers choices eventually leading to multiple outcomes in a branching story, not only does Ubisoft solve the biggest problem embedded in all previous Splinter Cell games -- which was its empty, worthless stories -- it went one better. Double Agent digs down into the very role of duality by giving gamers hard choices to make. Whether that means confronting the option of nuking innocents on a cruise ship or betraying Fisher's associates with a gunshot to the head, it's now possible. Splinter Cell forges a path into the messy core of managing two extreme organizations without losing the trust of either one and the results are subtle and complex, engaging and even a little thought provoking.Read full review
Splinter Cell Double Agent for the 360 is much different than the one for the regular Xbox... The missions and everything else are different too! So if you hated it for the Xbox original, try this one out. No health bars or "noise detecting meter... thing" or "light detecting meter... thing". Your health regenerates automatically as long as you remain unhindered (much like every other game nowadays). Voice acting's the same as Chaos Theory as far as enemies go and missions are a lot harder if you want to go in "stealthy". You can tell if you're in danger of being seen by a light on his back... White means you're in plain sight, yellow means someone detected you, green means you're hidden, and red means you just f***ed up!
I have all the Splinter Cell games and I really like this Ubisoft has not let me down..

Wow!I like to say that I loved all the Splinter cells, because they are so defferent than all the other games that you would play. It's better than the one just for xbox because you got so much more missions and extra stuf in the game. Awesome plot and twist. afther you beat it you fell to beat it agan and when you do you can make totaly deffernet choices. Great Game Can't Wait For The Next One I'am So Glad I Bought This Game.
