The Lorax by Dr. Suess, Random House, NY, 1971, First Library Edition.
This edition was published in 1971 simultaneously with the trade edition and thus is also a true first edition. Only intended for use in libraries, this copy has no library markings making it even rarer find.
As with the Trade edition the back cover lists 32 titles the last title being The Lorax and I Can Draw it Myself at the end of the Beginner Book list.
The Rudolf Flesch quote is in pink rather than yellow and the ISBN is in error stating 394-82337-5 when the true ISBN for the Library Edition was 394-92337-5.
The copyright page shows no ISBN or copyright number.

As with all early Lorax editions the infamous Lake Erie line is present.
The book's pictorial boards show some wear, The corners are bumped with exposed cardboard. The edge of the spine along the front cover has edge wear and paper lifts. The edge of the spine on the back cover is open half way up the book.
The interior hinges are quite sound and the pages are free of any markings. On the inside cover are the remnants of three pieces of scotch tape.
