Peanutpaster™ Selling my line of Antennas here on Ebey since Dec-19-2003

*Notice: - Ebay appears to have moved the ask the seller a question link making it hard to find now. So if it isn't in the regular place to the right under "Seller Info" Then it will be near the bottom left of this page. If you have a question about my item check those two spots and click on "Ask a question" and I will be happy to answer.

*Constructed and packaged in a 100% smoke free enviroment by me.*

Note: - No high loss black rg174 mini coax (8.4 db loss) Or the cheap closeout store coax with thin shielding like being used elsewhere! There is no sprey paint (messy can peel and chip) used on any of my antennas. None of this whatsoever! (unlike elsewhere!)

Buy the "Original" and get the "Quality"

Covers the legal Scanner Frequencies 30 MHz to 1200 MHz

Fits ALL Modern scanners that have the common BNC antenna connection. See pic 2 showing BNC connector.

I am pleased to announce and have up for bid my newest scanner antenna The Investigator Scanner Antenna™ Newly developed and designed in 2012 and now available for you to get through my auctions here on ebay.

Up for bid is The Investigator Scanner Antenna™. This antenna is perfect for the apartment dweller or home owner that needs an excellent Scanner Antenna and does not want the hassle with the landlord, neighbors, spouse etc...Or where space is limited or where there are outside antenna restrictions.

The Investigator Scanner Antenna™ is simple to use and very easy to hook up. 1. Hang The Investigator from its simple hook on the top of the antenna from a screw or a nail to wherever desirable like to your wall, door frame, behind curtains, back of desk, behind the dresser etc.  2. Plug the (8 foot) coax to your scanners BNC antenna connector and thats it ..simple. The Investigator with it's compact size takes up little space so it can easily be hidden out of site so no one will ever know it is there. The Investigator Scanner Antenna™ is my "Original" Design newly developed in 2012.

The Investigator Scanner Antenna™ will pull in signals compared to those rubber or telescopic antennas that come stock with a scanner. The Investigator can be mounted anywhere and as high up all the way to your ceiling if desired. The Investigator covers the legal Scanner Frequencies in the 30 MHz to 1200 MHz range. *Police, Fire, Emergency, Weather, Military, Government, Public Highway, Taxi, Railroad Etc* As well as covering the Aircraft Band 108 - 137 MHz* *And will also work to Monitor (listen) to those ham bands 2 meter, 6 meter and 70-cm*

The Investigator is a dual band design antenna. With this design you get the full range of your scanners frequencies from 30 - 1200 MHZ  with the Investigator being especially hot in the 400 - 1200 mhz range.

**As an added bonus** You will get a link to one of the *Largest Frequency Databases* to where you can program your scanner with LOCAL frequencies from YOUR AREA. YOU WILL NEED these frequencies to set up your (new) scanner for monitoring all the action. You get them here along with my Investigator Scanner Antenna to receive them. *Site covers most continental U.S States and Counties with current periodic updates. **This** is a free added bonus no guarantees implied that the site will have your specific location but with around 97% coverage the chances are good. **This site can also be VERY VALUABLE for like when on vacation in a hotel or camping. Just look up the frequencies before you leave of where you will be staying and copy or print them. That way you can take your scanner with you and be able to monitor the action where you are staying.**

The Investigator Scanner Antenna will work (fit) on all scanners that have a BNC antenna hookup such as Uniden, Radio Shack, Aor and many more *Including the NEW Digital Models* *Click On Picture # 2 to see plug*

In making my Investigator Scanner Antenna™ I don't use cheap black high loss RG - 174 mini coax which has 8.4db loss - (8.4db loss means wasted signal not getting to your scanner) like used elsewhere. I instead construct the antenna with Premium quality white RG59 Communications coaxial cable with heavy 95% shielding for "maximum signal transfer" to your scanner. This coax has a permanently attached nickel plated brass BNC connector with a gold plated contact for excellent conductivity hookup to your scanner. The Investigator scanner antenna™ secrete workings are housed in solid durable conduit housing with top and bottom cap fittings.  All soldered connections soldered with safe lead free solder. This quality construction makes for an excellent durable antenna that will perform for many years of reliable service.

***For more info about the coax I use as well as some info about me click the word me on the top right of this page where it has seller info. To get back to this auction page after viewing my about me page just click your browsers back button (arrow).

The Investigator Scanner Antenna™ is my "Original" design. I use only the best materials in making the Investigator as I would not have it any other way.

I have been into the radio hobby since 1977. I have been into Scanning, Shortwave, CB, AM DXing and Amateur Radio. I designed the Investigator Scanner Antenna™ it is my original design. The Investigator is "Hot" I am very proud of this antenna it is identical to the one I use for my BCT 8 scanner.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding On This Awesome Scanner Antenna.

***Check out my other items for sale and check out my feedback I have over 3400 Positive Feedbacks and I believe my feedback from my customers speaks for itself on the quality of my antennas as well as my fast shipping and strong safe packaging*** I let my reputation from my customers in their feedback speak for my products!

**Answer** to a question I have been asked about my coax used on my scanner antennas.

**Coax I use** I have recently been asked about my coax I use on my scanner antennas as to why I use RG59 white coax instead of RG174 Mini black coax like some are using. My answer is pretty simple. I use the RG59 because it has much less loss then the RG 174 mini coax (8.4 db loss on the mini coax) - (2.9 on the RG59) **DB loss means wasted signal not getting to your scanner** - You want as much signal as possible to be utilized. Also the RG59 is more durable. Though the RG59 costs more I do not and will not cut back on the quality of my product. I wouldn't want low quality on what I buy and do not expect my customers to either.

**Also Beware** Of some of the cheap closeout store coax being used. It might say RG 59U on it but it has 30 to 40% shielding. The coax I use has 95% shielding. Unfortunately "Low Shielding" also means DB Loss (Wasted signal not getting to your scanner).
