BEAUTIFUL TABLE CLOCK BY JAEGER LE COULTRE WITH ENAMEL, c. 1930
This is a very decorative and highly collectible table clock made by the Swiss clock manufacturer Jaeger Le Coultre. The clock shows wonderful enamel work. The dial of this outstanding piece of clockwork is marked by the manufacturer with “Jaeger Huit Jours Le Coultre Fabrique en Suisse”. It has been professionally cleaned by a clockmaker and is in very good general condition and would surely be a great addition to your collection.
Jaeger LeCoultre: In 1833, Antoine LeCoultre (1803–1881) founded a small workshop in Le Sentier, Switzerland, for the manufacture of high-quality timepieces. Antoine's son, Elie LeCoultre, desired to control all stages of timepiece production, so in 1866 he transformed his workshop into a manufacture, allowing his employees to pool their expertise under one roof. From 1902 and for the next 30 years, LeCoultre produced most of the movement blanks for Patek Philippe of Geneva. In 1903, Parisian Edmond Jaeger challenged Jacques-David LeCoultre, grandson of Antoine, to manufacture ultra-thin calibers of his design. Out of their relationship emerged a collection of ultra-thin pocket watches, followed by others that eventually, in 1937, officially culminated in the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand. The company was officially renamed Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1937. In 1982, the Jaeger-LeCoultre museum was established in Le Sentier.

If you decide to purchase more than one item from our Ebay auctions or our shop assortment, we will combine postage costs (which will result in a reduction of shipping costs) at the time we send you the Ebay checkout.
SHIPPING:
We ship worldwide through the Austrian Post Service (with comprehensive insurance coverage, referring to the International Delivery Contract, as mentioned in our item description) within 2 days of receipt of your payment. If you prefer to choose a different shipping method, please contact us via e-mail before bidding, which will enable us to calculate the exact costs for you!
INSURANCE:
We require full insurance coverage on all sales; the insurance amount is included in packing/insurance/express air mail shipping details in our item description for delivery through the Austrian Post Service. If you prefer an alternate shipping method, please contact us so that we can calculate any additional costs to you.
RETURN POLICY:
Costumers may be allowed to return ordered items within 5 days after receipt - only in the event that our item description is incorrect. Otherwise, please contact us to discuss individual circumstances and the possibility of making special arrangements. The costs of insurance and delivery are a service, and are therefore non-refundable.
DAMAGED ITEMS:
We ship worldwide, and take great care to package our items very carefully for shipping long distances. Please inspect your ordered item immediately upon receipt (you can decline acceptance when the parcel shows obvious damage). We ship every item fully insured. In the case of damage during transport you will have to take the following steps: Please take photographs of the outer packaging materials, take detailed photographs of the damaged item, and please keep all packaging for any further inquiries. Please contact your local Post Office that delivered the parcel with the damaged item, and fill in a "damage report" form. The Post Office will then supply you with a confirmation.
Please then send all these documents to us via Express Air Mail, e-mail, or fax, and we will then be able to contact our local Post Office to claim on the insurance. In the case of possibility of restoration, please send us an estimate of the restorations costs of a local restorer - (written the restorer´s business letterhead) - and / or statement of the diminution of item´s value that resulted from the damage it sustained during transit.
