Store Categories | This is an original painting by graffiti artist Reskew (Miles Wickham) It is painted on a 9x12 sheet of thick artists paper. It is a hand painted collage of "throwups" or bubble letters, tags and an RW piece. Throwup is a graffiti artist term which comes from the quick ease one can "throw up" an outline of a bubble letter onto a wall with a can of spraypaint. These are the same style throwups as seen on the streets of NYC. It is painted with acrylic paints on heavy stock paper with brushes and paint markers. Take a look at all the pictures to see the layering of colors and textured look it creates while looking up close. The piece is signed on the front and also signed/ dated on the back- Reskew and Miles Wickham. Search Miles Wickham online to find out about the artist and see other works.
