The Steadicam Pilot is a state of the art, lightweight stabilizer system designed especially for the modern breed of lightweight cameras from 2 to 10 pounds. The Optional SteadiStand™ or Turtle Base “C” Stand, required for Steadicam balance and operation, fits neatly in the available soft carry case. The Steadicam Pilot is designed with a lightweight Iso-elastic Arm and ultra low profile vest, lightweight sled with CarbonLite expandable post, low mass gimbal and offers advanced features/benefits with low cost for the Video Professional.
The Iso-Elastic™ arm is a two-section, articulated, design that can be adjusted while supporting the camera. With this patented, unique design, the Steadicam operator can smoothly and effortlessly raise or lower the arm throughout its 28 inch boom range. The iso-elastic arm is also non-reactive – improving vertical stability and control in all operating conditions, from lock-offs to fast running shots over rough terrain.
The 5.8” LCD monitor is standard and provides good contrast from dark to light situations. The monitor weight and location on the sled assures the operator perfect balance and ease of operation. Utilizing a proven Low Mass Gimbal the operator has the ability to capture the fluid movement that only Steadicam can provide. No-tools precision camera stage establishes a solid base for the camera and facilitates smooth adjustment ease from side to side plus fore and aft.
The Carbonlite expandable post and interface to the stage form a solid bond to assure no jitter in the picture as the operator captures those unique scenes. The stage plate is indexed so that the camera can be re-moved and re-mounted without the need to re-adjust the balance. The stage can be easily accessorized with focus motor mount, additional connectors or dovetail type camera plate.
The sled boasts a true three axis gimbal and is equipped with counter weights for balance and positionable monitor, gimbal and battery mounts. Counterweights are provided for balance.

All our items are brand new as supplied by the manufacturer. We do not sell used or refurbished products.
Include your phone number
Please include your phone number with all orders so that we can provide it to the carrier in case of delivery difficulty. This is especially important on international orders.
International orders
Actual shipping charges will be calculated at the time of order and are to be paid by the purchaser. Brokerage fees, import tariffs, customs duties, customs clearance fees and value added taxes, as well as other local taxes, may apply to international orders and are assessed by customs authorities at the time of delivery. media monkey does not calculate these fees at the time of order, and they are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Please inquire with local customs authorities for more information regarding applicable fees. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser on all returned orders. Refunds will be for the merchandise amount only minus 10%. Media Monkey cannot refund any duties, taxes or fees paid on the order. Free ground shipping does not apply to international orders.

Shipping carrier may change without notice
media monkey retains the right to change shipping carriers to best service your order, given that it will take the same or less number of days to arrive to you compared to the original shipping method that you selected. Every effort will be made to use the selected carrier. Possible reasons for a carrier change include:
- Carrier minimum and maximum weight limits not met
- Carrier package dimension limits exceeded
- Service limitations of the carrier selected
- Changes due to inclement weather
Return Policy
Products sold by media monkey are covered by our Standard Return Policy, unless otherwise indicated. Merchandise under our Standard Return Policy may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please follow the steps outlined below.
1) To insure proper handling of your return, all returns must be phoned in for a Return Authorization Number. Merchandise will be refused without one. A return authorization number does not guarantee final disposition. All returned or exchanged merchandise is subject to inspection.
2) Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable. No exceptions. We are not responsible for any shipping charges for merchandise being returned to us.
3) All merchandise sent back for credit will be subject to a 10% restocking charge.
4) All returns for credit or exchange must include original factory box. Do not deface original factory cartons or packaging in any manner. Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the package. Returned items showing any ware or use and or missing parts will be subject to a 10% restocking charge at our discretion.
5) Returned merchandise which is lost or damaged in transit is not media monkey's responsibility. It is your responsibility to file claims with the carrier upon discovery of a problem.
Many manufacturers offer additional factory coverage; you should contact the manufacturer of your item directly for information regarding eligibility and specific Terms and Conditions.
