Great Product! I own a set of 8 Starrett Drive punches in different sizes. The 1/16 being the smallest is easy to bend and break due to its size, so I ordered 6 of them. Additionally they are easy to convert to other tools like a small punch that can leave a "witness mark" on the underside of a item to mark where two pieces should align up. I needed one to use as a special punch for working on a Weatherby rifle. I'm very pleased with them!

Starrett makes great tools. A pin punch of this working diameter is delicate to start with. The quality of this tool means it will be less prone to bending or mushrooming with use. Smaller diameter punches require a light hand, but this punch will do the job.

Starrett punches are pretty durable but will still bend or break if used trying to remove rusted pins. The Proto are much better (and cheaper) to use for rusted or tight pins. All my older punches are USA marked, this is not so more than likely made in China. Not a deal breaker just disappointing.

The real thing. Have used Starrett products for most of my working life. No substitutions for iconic products.
