Stanley #45 Plow Multi Plane with box and accessories excellent condition

Offered is an antique Stanley #45 Multiplane with a full box set of cutters, screw driver, and box.  The plane body and cutters are in excellent condition. 

The box has seen better days as it suffers on edge split and the wax covering showing signs of disintegration.  Please see pictures for more. 

This is the kind of tool in the condition you want for your woodworking. 

I have owned this for longer than I can remember, but am selling due to divorce.

As this is an antique it is sold as is.  There are no cracks or other issues that I am aware of.

This is a SweetHart era plane and, if you look carefully at the first picture and at the fence, the fence is adjustable to plane at an angle other than 90 degrees.  Other models are fixed and are strictly 90 degrees, only.  thank you.

This is a type 16.  It is not a sweet heart.  the skate must have a heart between the rectangular box and made in usa to be a sweet heart.  this plane was made between 1936-1948.  The sweet heart logo was removed from the cutter box on type type 17.

Hi, thank you for your comment.  If you read carefully I indicated it is a sweetheart "era" plane.  I do not know enough about the typing to tell anyone exactly what it is.  I do, however, see a sweetheart logo on the cutter box and it is a New Britain, Conn box. Everything that should be present is, and it is in excellent condition.  Other than that, I do not know.  Thank you for your input.
