Description
If you're tired of the way your car looks, it's probably time to give it a makeover. But these days, we have to save in anyway we can. So don't just go for expensive accessories that serve no other purpose than "pimping up" your car. Get something practical–something that can get people's attention, but is useful at the same time. Why not start with an OAG Grille?
A grille enhances a car's appearance and allows cool air to enter under the hood, which the radiator needs to operate efficiently. Most stock grilles are plain–usually just a piece of frame with shiny metal bars. Stock grilles are also not as tough as ones made by trusted manufacturers like OAG. This company uses durable, corrosion-resistant materials like aluminum and steel. Plus, the grilles from OAG are manufactured in an ISO9001-certified factory, so you can be sure that every grille from this company is strong and reliable.
OAG' grilles also come in several types: Aluminum Billet, Stainless Billet, Mesh Grille, Perimeter Grille, and Symbolic Grille. That means you can choose which one looks best with your car! And though these components may vary in looks, you can be sure that all of them are of the highest quality. These grilles also come in a number of applications, so no matter what kind of vehicle you have, there's an OAG Grille perfect for your car. That's form and functionality all in one package! So what are you waiting for?

All about Grilles
Grille Styles
Classic billet grilles- These grilles have closely spaced horizontal or vertical bars. They can be without a perimeter, ‘floating’, or enclosed by a metal perimeter frame. Classic billet grilles never go out of style and come in a polished, black powder coated or stainless steel finish.
Bumper grilles- These grilles usually match the main grille on top and provide the total package look.
Mesh grilles- The mesh grille looks best when paired with a car that has a big OEM grille shell.
Symbolic grilles- These specialty grilles come in a dizzying array of designs: flames, skulls, spider webs, and the American flag. The designs are CNC machine cut from a single sheet of material, and then polished to a mirror finish.
Grille Material
Aluminum is the most popular material for billet grilles and rightly so due to the metal’s flexibility, durability and high sheen. Aluminum is extremely malleable, making it easy to be manipulated into different shapes, bends and designs.
Stainless steel grilles were first mass produced and popularized by OAG Overstock Auto Stainless steel is even more durable and corrosion proof than aluminum. Although a tad more expensive than aluminum grilles, stainless steel grilles are a classy alternative.
ABS plastic grilles are lightweight and easy to paint over. They are the material of choice for OEM car grilles. Although some aftermarket grille manufacturers have also embraced ABS plastic grilles as a more affordable alternative to aluminum or stainless steel grilles.
Grille Installation
Installation Bolt over style- This billet grille simply bolts over the existing factory plastic grill. This method does not require drilling, or cutting of the OEM grille shell. Hidden bolts, brackets and clamps are used for a simple installation. The upside of bolt over grilles is ease of installation. Bolt overs should take no more than 30 minutes to install.
Replacement style- The OEM grille must be removed and then mount the replacement billet grille in place of the OEM grille. Drilling and sometimes cutting is required for this method of installation. Installation instructions are provided, but unless you are a handyman you will need to take this job to a professional garage. |
