At 15 inches long, 6 inches high, and 2.5 inches thick and weighing only 4 pounds 7 ounces, the sound bar-inspired speaker is light enough to take anywhere in your home or office. Or take the Sony SRS-BTX500 Computer Speakers with you to the patio, park, beach, or anywhere you like. The Sony SRS-BTX500 Computer Speakers have an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery, so you can forget about cumbersome and expensive batteries. Fully charged, the Sony SRS-BTX500 Computer Speakers can play for up to 4 hours continuously. A handy USB port on the back allows you to charge any USB device while listening to music. For added flexibility, the Sony SRS-BTX500 Computer Speakers also have a 3.5mm auxiliary jack. When you pair your smartphone with the Sony SRS-BTX500 Computer Speaker, you never have to worry about missing a call. The Sony SRS-BTX500 Computer Speakers have a built-in microphone so you can answer your paired phone with the press of a button and take your call on speakerphone without fumbling for your phone. In addition to Bluetooth capability, the Sony SRS-BTX500 Computer Speakers are also NFC enabled, so pairing the speaker with your NFC-enabled device is as simple as downloading the free Sony NFC Easy Connect app and tapping your device on the speaker. SRS-BTX500 Sweet Sound
Received my unit today and it is fantastic. Very good sound. Bluetooth connection is fast and easy to accomplish one you learn the trick of holding down the button until you get repaid pulsing blue light. NFC works just fine. Includes an USB connector so you can charge your phone while the speaker is connected to it's power supply.
