I got two of those when they first came out several years ago. I put one on my muzzle loader and one on my 12 gauge slug gun. They have held zero for 10 years and the only thing that is negative that happened to them was the rubber ring on the eye piece came off and won't go back on. The scopes are clear up to a point but they are not as good as the more expensive scopes but they are a great deal for the money. One thing that you will need is very high rings (about 1 1/2 inches) to mount these scopes otherwise they not work.

The adjustments on the scope are too mushy, I couldn't use beyond 4x of the zoom when shooting under 20yards. It would be much better if it clicked in place on horizontal and vertical alignments. I spent a few more dollars and replace it with the 2-7x 32mm AO Winchester by Daisy which is a much better buy than Simmons Truplex Rifle scope (3-9X50). The trueplex may be a tad brighter but the daisy is sharp and clear down to 10 feet. Thought it did cost double the price of the Simmons at $43 with tax. The Daisy Winchester has parallax correction with the AO feature, and is built to withstand the forces on the scope caused by air rifles. Air rifle shake the scopes more I'm not sure the if the Simmons would last 500 shots on my springer. So what am I using the Simmons for - It is now a paper weight on my desk reminding me to do a little research so I don't waste my limited funds.Read full review

I have had simmons scopes in the past and they were not very good when it came to clarity, construction and durability. It seems that time and technology has trickled down to this scope. Iam very satisfied with this scope! Clear and well constructed i hope to have this scope on my rifle for some time to come. I now am not timid to say i have a simmons on my rifle. Thanks simmons for a good product.

Very nice scope at this price point. Adjustments are easy with the positive click turrets, and the fast focus eyepiece is a nice feature. Unbeatable value at a very low price - perfect choice for someone that doesn't want to spend $$ on optics for an inexpensive firearm.

Terrific deal. For under 20 bucks I got a scope that is as good as scopes costing twice that amount and more. The image is clear and bright to the edge. It was easy to zero and it holds that zero well. I am using it on a Ruger 10/22 so this review is not based on a particularly harsh environment. Also I should say that I have had it for only a short time. It carries a lifetime warranty backed up by a major player in the field. Despite the low price there is nothing cheap about the scope. It shows good quality materials and construction.
