This lens is in great condition, its been one of my favorite lenses I have owned and I have taken "professional" care of it. I bought it about a year and a half ago for roughly $1,200 and when it was not in use it was stored in the original lens case. It has had a Hoya UV filter on it since the day it was purchased to insure glass protection.
The glass is flawless(no scratches/cracks/mold/moisture/dust/etc) The body has very mild signs of wear and a very small ding on the front bottom, it has no effect on the function of the lens and is barely even noticeable. Other than that everything works just fine and is ready to continue taking stellar photos. This is an amazing deal and I guarantee you won't find a lens of this caliber in this great of condition for a price like this. To clear up a common question. I am parting with the lens to buy more primes as my photography rarely requires a telephoto other than the 70-200. This lens is awesome for weddings/red carpets/studio work/on the go photos.
