Pros: Trust in Seagate value, quality & reliability. 320Gb capacity sufficient for use as a system drive but weak for archival storage. 7200 RPM, 16Mb cache & SATA interface for faster read+write than older IDE hardrives. Hardrive Utilities and Diagnostics available with SeaTools software downloadable from Seagate website. Runs cool. Cons: Lacks a 4-pin (IDE style), power receptacle necessitating use of an adaptor when used in computers with an older power supply unit.
Had some fun getting my computer to recognize it but I was able to get it recognized and it has worked great ever since. Great hear drive.

I love these hard drives, they get almost 70MB/s maximium read speed and competitive seek/access times. I have 3x of these in RAID 0 "short stroked" (only 30% capacity usage on RAID volume) and get an average read speed of 219.5MB/s and a 11ms seek time. Windows boots FAST! Cons: They are old drives but if you can get a good deal their worth every penny
I was looking for a new but larger drive for an old computer that I still need to run Windows 7 on. The prior 80 GB HDD was completely full and I had nothing else to delete from it. Getting this 320GB HDD will keep it running for a while with four times the capacity. HDD was as expected and installed perfectly fine after I cloned the prior drive onto the new one. Working perfectly well.

decent mechanical drive, worked just fine in my desktop computer. only con is that it is a mechanical drive and slower than solid state drive.
