USED – I would further grade this reel as in VERY GOOD condition. This reel has been used, but never abused. The reel is tight and smooth. It seems to work perfectly. There is no reel case or reel bag with this reel.
The Scientific Anglers System reels were made by Hardy Brothers in England and the reel is so marked. It matches the Hardy Marquis 10 and the spools are interchangeable. This is size 9. I would use this reel for 8 or 9 weight lines. The frame of the reel is a dark tan color. The spool is a pewter color. The reel as currently set up is for Left Hand crank. It is easily switched, however. FlyMasters will be happy to switch the reel to right-hand cranking, if you wish. Just let us know prior to shipping. There is a drag adjustment on the reel.
Some fly fishermen love the sound of a loud ratchet when a fish is running up and down the stream. This reel, The System 9 (Made in England by Hardy) is for a 8-9 rod. This is a great reel for using on a light switch rod. It is heavy enough to offer very good balance. I love the loud ratchet and it sings a great tune when a salmon, steelhead, etc are on the end of the line.

Our restricted country list is extremely short.
When shipping international orders by other than the Global Shipping Program, international orders are not subject to U.S. taxes.
