I needed more razors so instead of buying them in a store again I decided to look online and found these sold in groups of 40. It is the best price per razor I could find both online and stores. My facial hair isn't very thick so I only have to shave every 2 to 3 days and change the razor every two months. This lot of 40 will last me about 6.5 years! If you're someone that needs to shave every day or even twice a day this still a screamin' deal cause you can't beat the price per razor. The only thing I don't like about the hydro 5 is the fold up thing at the end with the white dots, they come in blue and the sensative razors are green. I the razors were perfect before they started adding that flip up bar thing. When I shave I do 2 maybe 3 passes per area to get all the stubble. Having that bar with dots on end removes the remaining moisture of the shaving gel from my face and when I make a 2nd or 3 pass my skin is dry and more sensative to the razor and will leave red rashy looking patches. I put the razor on the handle and pull the green thing back until it pops out of the hinge points and throw it away. It doesn't break though because it is made of a flexible plastic. That's just one man's opinion, maybe other guys like it.Read full review

I have been using these blades for over 4 years and they are by far worth every penny. One cartridge last 7-9 days. (I shave down there, too) I rarely ever cut myself and never get razor bumps until they get to 9 days. I used to get the best price retail at Target but online is definitely the best bargain. A five blade cartridge at CVS or Walgreens will run $15-$18 depending if they're on sale or you have a coupon. So it's a no brainer to buy online. I always buy them in the packaging too. I have tried those fancy ones from Germany you can get at Target now and for myself, the Schick Hydro 5 is the best!

I was a Gillette man ever since the Trac II came out in the mid-seventies. But while Gillette morphed into a wonderful five blade razor the price went up about five times too. Then Schick came out with their own five blade system and the very first improvement I saw was all five blades were on the same side! Yes I knew why Gillette did what they did but I didn't buy it. (Most guys shave, they don't trim) I always saw their system as a waste of a blade myself. Anyway I consider myself a professional shavers and I easily get 2 weeks out of each blade and end up with a baby's butt smoothness after each shave! Meet me in any maternity ward and I will prove it. John Nicholson

These came in a cardboard box just as you see them in the picture. Not in the MFRs "clam-shell" marketing package. Was a little concerned with this at first - maybe they were knock offs or something else??? So far they appear to be the real thing and work great. Definitely the best value out there.
