Battery on this thing is incredible. Charged it once done I got it and still is only around halfway after weeks. Only detracting bit is that the lock function. You cannot lock the power button. So even if locked you can turn it off mid workout by accident because the power button is just the center button on the front. Which makes it easy to turn it on by accident while in a gym bag or something. Other than that issue it is exactly what I wanted. The sound is good too. Has stopwatch and radio as well.

After having used this product for a few weeks now, to be frank, it is not good. When it does work, it is not a bad little player. The sound is good. Remember: When it does work. Currently, I can not even get the item to charge and it isn't showing up on my computer. Really it's disappointing. I would not recommend this card nor this company to go with. The item seems to work better when it is warm, which tells me that it is fault wiring (to high of resistance for the electricity to flow through it). Heating it up probably lowers the resistance which allows the energy to run through it. I've done enough electric work on computer chips and boards to be able to tell you that one. What bothers me is that they ended up selling this refurbished anyways. It has only worked for 2 charges and that is it! What a wasteRead full review

This seems like a really nice MP3 player. Was easy to download songs on it and the sound quality is great. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that we haven't had it long enough to test its durability. It's currently in a box under the tree. Overall, very pleased so far!!!!

Being a sport model, this player needs a hold switch really bad! A sliding hold switch freezes the controls and prevents the touch buttons from working. Grabbing the player the wrong way while working out or running will often cause it to go into a different mode, losing what you were listening to. I've learned to grab it on the top while pinching the belt clip, but that can be awkward. A hold switch would allow me to grab it anywhere without accidentally changing the program. The controls and screen functions are not very intuitive, making seeing the screen a must to program the player. If, like me, you workout or run without your glasses, the learning curve is that much more difficult. On the plus side, battery life is excellent, charging is quick, sound quality is excellent with good earbuds, loading and deleting files is easy, and 4mb of capacity is more than enough for my purposes. Price is very reasonable. Evidently SanDisk's designers don't workout much, though.Read full review
Bought this player for long life of battery and it has done well. I play it for about 7 hours while working on the warehouse floor and it is still going strong at the end of my shift. It is small in size and clips securely to my shirt. I use headphones instead of buds and the output is loud and clear. The only things I find annoying is that occasionally while in shuffle mode, it will play about 10 songs and then play them again in the same order, I have over 500 loaded so I should not hear repeats for a while. Also, even though I have backed out of play mode and shut down, when I put it on charge, it will power up and start playing the last song I was listening to. Overall, I like this player, was a good value, and the two things that bug me are not show stoppers.
