I decided to go with this Samsung LED monitor because I'm a fan of Samsung's other products and LED displays, and I was not disappointed. The picture is very bright and sharp, better than my 42" Samsung LCD TV! The 21.5" size also feels just right; it's a big, bright display but does not feel gigantic sitting on the desk or attached to the wall. The only problem I've had is matching this display to my second monitor, or rather matching the second monitor to this one, since the colors on the Samsung are much more vivid than on the other display when they are sitting side-by-side.
Bought the item 1 month ago, looks like brand new and performs just like brand new even though refurbished The auto adjust function is very handy. The monitor is EXTREMELY bright, but thankfully they give you a very easy option to bring brightness down and safe money on electricity One thing i was impressed with considering the size and quality is how quickly is turns on and off. Really want THAT much of a picture difference, though games do look somewhat better compared to my old monitor, nothing drastic. Very nice and big, well worth the price compared to what you can buy in stores!
I purchased this monitor to view with my AutoCadd drawings. I have 2 LT's with 16 & 18 displays. This size is a great advantage when generating complex 3D drawings. I have always been a Do Dell or Die engineer, but this Samsung is a fantastic unit. Great contrast, color, regen, etc. The similar Dell was about $100 bucks more. My next LT may even be a Samsung. I have told all my engr circle to consider these displays. I will cetrainly purchase another Samsung!!! JK Opel P.E.
I bought this 22" Samsung monitor after my 19" Acer LCD monitor burnt out on me. It lasted a good 3 years. No complaints to Acer. So I decided to look for a LED monitor because my friend has one and it stays very cool. and I wanted one that was a little bigger for all the gaming I do. Pros: Very Clean. Bright screen, alot of options for configuring LCD vs LED (power saving, color, etc.) Like how the buttons are concealed by the on off button. nice heavy sturdy base. separate DVI & VGA ports. Great for hardcore gaming to casual web browsing Cons: none at this moment. Make sure you get a extended warranty at Squaretrade Warranties. Got one at $20 for a extended 2 year warranty.
Pros:Display is very nice, high contrast, great resolution. No dead pixels, great price! Nice stand also, tilts easily. Cons: For some reason when I shut the monitor off and turn it back on, it will not work. Have to disconnect and reconnect my DVI cables, not sure if its this monitor or my gfx; though my 2nd monitor doesn't seem to have that problem. Also, the flashing LED is very annoying when the monitor isn't active. Function buttons are small and placed below which is a little bothersome.
