Although it's a durable light, I wouldn't buy another. For the price I paid, I could easily get 3 or 4 T6 or XML led flashlights that are 10 times brighter and use rechargeable batteries. The selection process have you completely press on the button which can wear out quicker than the typical light tap that T6 lights do. The light output is less desirable to desirable. Max lumens is only 57 from a gas xenon bulb... I thought these were obsolete. Overall, I wouldn't bet my survival in the dark with these. Something for a short power outage maybe, but save your money and get a better quality LED light.

An overall good flashlight. The only thing that really bugged me after a while was the three settings. I would have to click the on button three times to get to the brightness I wanted every time I used it. I'm a contractor, all I need is a simple on/off device.

This model is old stock no longer being made. Says 03 right on the package. Just about the time I bought my first one. Paid around $35.00 plus tax for it then. The switch and lamp are one assembly. It has 4 switch positions, 3 leds, 6 leds, standard bulb and off. You have to push it twice for 6 led position and twice more to turn it off. My kids played with it and wore out the switch years ago. I looked into having the switch/ lamp part replaced and it was going to cost me as much as I paid for it. You need a special tool to take it apart. When I saw this for $14.95 I grabbed it. Kids are grown and out of the house. I’m hoping that if I’m more careful with it , it will last longer. For this price you can’t go wrong.
