Due to the new increased shipping charges by Royal Mail we will now be offering 2^nd Class Postage as our first choice option to offer you the best possible value.  We will still be offering 1^st Class Postage for those buyers who need an item quickly.

With regards to Packet Post for the UK the first level has now  changed where you can  send items up to 750gs in weight for £2.70 (1^st Class) or £2.20 (2^nd Class) – previously there were 4 weight levels ranging in price between £1.58  & £3.05. We would therefore suggest, where possible, you combine items up to the 750gs to save on your shipping costs.

Unfortunately shipping costs for overseas customers has risen considerably and we are trying to find an alternative to Royal Mail.

We usually add on between 25p -50p to the shipping rate to cover our packaging costs i.e. jiffy bags, mailing bags, boxes, labels, printing ink and petrol to the post office – the price varies depending on which packaging materials we use.  To save you money we try and ship in jiffy bags and put this in a mailing bag when shipping overseas.  With some items i.e. bottles of eyewash, hand gel & disinfectant spray we have to ship in boxes which are more expensive.  Hopefully this will explain how our shipping costs are arrived at – it is not within our interests to make a profit on shipping as our Paypal fees are on both the cost of the item + shipping.

Delivery Information

• Items ordered before 3pm Monday to Friday will be sent the same day.
• Items ordered after 3pm on Friday will be sent on Saturday morning.
• Items ordered after 10am on Saturday will be sent on Monday.

As a general rule we have found that delivery by Royal Mail to be very good and if you pay for 1^st Class Post in the UK you will usually receive the item within 24 hours. 

Royal Mail aim to deliver to Western Europe within three working days. Eastern Europe takes up to five days and other countries up to seven days, although we have found from time to time that Australia & the USA can take 10/14 days.

However, we can’t be held responsible for the time it takes for Royal Mail to deliver your order. 

If your order doesn’t arrive within 7 days please contact us immediately so that we can try to sort this problem for you by trying to trace the order and arrange a replacement.  Please note that Royal Mail’s Policy on non- delivery is as follows:

"Please wait 15 working days (from the due date of delivery) before completing this form as we would not consider an item as lost until 15 working days have elapsed. We allow the 15 working days

for items to be returned to the sender if there are any delivery problems."

With regards to International Deliveries the Policy states that you should wait 20 days for European countries and 25 days for the Rest of the World.

As you are aware things can go missing in transit, especially round Christmas time, and we would suggest that you take out insurance which we can track online. 

Insurance in the UK

The cheapest form of insurance in the UK is ‘Recorded Signed For’ and costs an extra £0.95p on top of the original postage charge – we will provide you with a tracking number so that you can track the item online via the Royal Mail website.

If you require any of the more expensive insurance types available i.e. Special Delivery by 9am, Special Delivery Next Day or Same Day please contact us for details as the cost depends on weight & size.

International Insurance

The cheapest form of International Insurance is ‘International Signed For’ and costs £5.15 on top of the original postage charge – we will provide you with a tracking number so that you can track the item online via the Royal Mail website. We must point out though, that this will only show you when the order has left the UK – it doesn’t show the progress in another country until it has been delivered.

Airsure® is the other option for International Insurance & can be up to one day faster than Airmail. The cost is £6.00 on top of the original postage charge. Your item will receive priority handling in the UK and overseas and benefits from an online tracking facility so you can check your mail's progress along the way.  Royal Mail work closely with international partners to ensure and maintain a high quality of service for Deliveries and for that reason, Airsure® is only available to selected destinations:
