Steering Shaft Support Bracket

 

This auction is for a new Steering Shaft Support Bracket. This will accept a ¾” Steering Shaft, commonly used on Street Rods. A support bracket is necessary when your steering shaft has 3 U-Joints.

 

This bracket is ready to weld to the side of your frame for a neat, clean, tucked in appearance. Don’t give in to the temptation to bolt a standard heim joint to the top of your frame.

 

The drawing shows how it will fit onto a 2” x 4” frame rail. The center of the bearing is ¾” inboard of the frame and 1 ¾” up from the top of the frame.

 

This bracket is machined from ½” plate steel, with a spherical steel rod end pressed into it. It has a light coat of primer to prevent rust.
