The following description is taken from the manufacturers website:

  • The original, highly acclaimed AMT3000 kit everyone has been talking about since 2003.
  • Legal to use in the US without FCC license (complies fully with FCC Part 15 regulations)
  • Tuning range: 530 to 1700 kHz in 10 kHz steps
  • Constant 100 mW input power regardless of load or tuning
  • 100% Modulation
  • 20Hz to 20kHz ±1 dB audio response, low distortion
  • Jumper option for treble boost to compensate for restricted bandwidth of typical receivers
  • On-board audio compressor/limiter with front panel controls
  • High quality enclosure, PC board and components
  • Includes enclosure, 120VAC to 18VAC AC wall adapter, antenna and ground wires, and comprehensive instruction manual.

This transmitter is available from the manufacturer only as a kit. It is illegal to sell it pre-assembled.  I bought this one a little over a year ago, assembled it and have used it occasionally. Am now selling it to fund other projects.  It is in excellent physical and working condition. You can see full details of the AMT3000 at the manufacturer's website here.

I will supply this transmitter configured to work with the supplied antenna wire. If you wish to use it at a frequency above 1000 KHz in the AM broadcast band, there is one resistor to remove - you could snip it out with a pair of cutters, or I can remove it for you if you wish. Also, if you ever decide to build the antenna with the external loading coil to maximize the range, there is a capacitor included that will need to be swapped out - full details in the included instruction manual. This is an ideal transmitter for broadcasting programming to AM radios around your house. With the supplied antenna, I achieved full coverage around my house and garden. Please note that this is the version with the 10KHz channel spacing for the US AM broadcast band.

Payment by Paypal only. I will ship only to addresses in the US (Hawaii and Alaska included). Shipping will be via US Priority Mail and it will be insured for the full purchase price.

If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. I can usually answer within a few hours, so don't leave it to the last minute before asking me anything.

Incidentally, I am an experienced builder. The kit has been built to a high standard, as you can see from the pictures. These are not stock photos. They are photos I have taken of the actual unit I am selling:

You won't need the assembly instructions in the manual pictured below, but it also contains comprehensive instructions on how to set up the transmitter:

Please note that I will only accept a return if the item is not as  described or is not functioning, so make sure you want this before bidding. It will be insured for the full amount, so if damaged in transit, the insurance will cover it.
