Too much glare with flash at any setting.  Nice estate find purchased for sister-in-law; mother-in-law had this pattern in the truly OLD china.  She's pretty sure she is going to let it go due to never having used it once in 16 years.  Unfortunately, the lid has been broken and the repair is obvious.  However, half of the lid is undamaged; if this piece will be sitting in the china cabinet or on a shelf mostly to fill out the set, the undamged portion can face outward.  The body is without flaw.  Weigh is 2 pounds, so packed securely, shipping weight will be 2-3 pounds. 

Hubby is an old school biker and ours is not a non smoking home.  Items stored in smoke free area, however, some may acquire a slight odor.  I have never had any complaints as of yet, but it does bear mentioning in all fairness to potential bidders.  If a faint odor would cause one to drop dead immediately upon opening package, then you may not want this item in your home.
