At the request of a modeler, I have added photos of this car to show some of it's modeling features.
The side doors operate so you can run these with doors open or shut, and there is a solid side door and a ventilated side door.
The ends also have operating doors, so you can run the car with the ends closed or open.
The brake wheel and the brake wheel rod are in a sealed bag with the model.
Note the wire handrails, not moded. The handrails on the ends are drop type with NBW castings included. The ladders are molded on. The stirrups are modeled with NBW details and appear to be an appropriate size to me, but I couldn't find my calipers to be sure.
The brake gear is minimal, but the big parts show when you can see under the car. There are turnbuckles on the truss rods and bolt detail on the queenposts. The basics are there, so you could add some wire for more piping.
This means that I have opened one box to take the photos.
All in all, a nice start for a project.Box is the manufacturer's sealed box from the factory, except for the one I opened. Comment:
