This book is fine if you want to learn some random vocabulary or quickly need to look up an essential word to say to a Spanish-speaker. My main problem with it is that all the words helping you distinguish actual definitions are written in Spanish, regardless of whether you're in the English-to-Spanish or Spanish-to-English section. I guess the good side to this is that it makes you learn more and more Spanish because you have to look up more and more words to understand the first words. But sometimes it would be nice to get a straight freaking definition. Anyway, the book is a good size for "whipping out" under any circumstance. Of course this small size comes with a price. For example, I could not find an entry for "disrespectful" in the English-to-Spanish section. Also, the book lacks a grammer section. I know it's a dictionary, but for a beginner such as myself, it would have been a nice bonus. By the way, you should know that it's a European-style dictionary. "Color" is spelled "colour," (although "US color" is written afterwards), etc. I wish I knew more about whether it has European Spanish or Spanish of the Americas. Regardless of the Vox Super-mini's shortcomings, it succeeds in being physically small and I enjoy carrying it with me everywhere, including to work. Also, I like the font. Also, it's cheap. Of course, Media Mail charges you an arm and a leg. I paid about $1.70 for it, brand new, but got charged a whole $3.00 for shipping, even though the book itself is about the size and weight of a mere matchbox. It's ridiculous. However, maybe I'm veering off-topic. I'd get the book if I were you. Just know that I wish I'd paid my dad to get me the Vox because he has a deal with Amazon that gets him free shipping. Maybe Ebay should offer the same thing.Read full review
I espically like that it is pocket sized so that I can slip it easily in my bag and it doesn't take up too much space. It comes in very handy and is a great choice for a beginning spanish class. Also it is the same brand of spanish book that is sold in our campus bookstore (although I did not see the smaller pocket sized book).
Very handy. Perfect size for carrying in a purse, although too big to carry in a pocket.

Nice small size. This was a gift for some Mexican elementary school children who take English lessons as an extracurricular course. The instructor wanted graduation gifts for them. she said they were perfect.
The dictionary is a good size, but it is not a pocket dictionary, and contains most commonly used words and provides good definitons.
