The Trinitron WEGA flat picture tube minimizes glare from virtually any angle, while also employing a magnetic Quadra pole to reduce beam spot distortion and a 3D digital comb filter to lessen dot crawl and blurred edges between colors. The resulting video images are sharp and colorful, whether broadcast through a digital set-top box, digital cable, a DVD player, a game console, or a good old-fashioned VCR.

·         Other picture enhancements spring from the velocity scan modulation, which creates refined edges around the objects on the screen; the combination of Dynamic Focus and Dynamic Picture circuitry; and the Digital Reality Creation technology, which doubles the pixels on each scan line (vertical and horizontal) to create an image with four times the density.
