As long as your CD player has the MP3 technology it will play. Most new automobiles come standard with MP3 stereos. Automobiles, prior to 2006, did not have the MP3 stereos as standard equipment. Most all portable CD players will play these audiobooks, but check your specific model prior to making a purchase. The MP3 CD audiobooks also can be downloaded to MP3 players, such as the iPod and the MP3s can be played on a computer or a DVD player.
