Up for sale is a very HIGH QUALITY Shield Boss designed for use in SCA Heavy Combat. Designed with the SCA Heavy Combat fighter in mind, the boss is comprised of 14 gauge plate steel (2mm), is 9" in outside
diameter, approx. 7" diameter interior opening and has a 1" lip. The
boss is approximately 3 1/2" in depth. The boss comes predrilled with six 1/4" holes so that you may easily attach this great boss to your favorite shield.
If you are looking for REAL armour, here it is. I am an SCA fighter authorized in all weapon systems and am also a Warranted Marshal so I know what is needed to compete on the field. This shield boss is made to be used in SCA heavy combat but I take no responsibility for it's use or misuse. However, please note that I do not nor will not make or sell any armour that I would not fight with myself. I am a firm believer in safety first.
