My Ryobi sprayer does eveything that it was designed to do. I have many Ryobi tools and the batteries are interchangable so I never run out of juice. It is such a plus not to have to pump a sprayer up constantly. The spray head works very well if you want a mist or a jet simply turn it to the desired flow. I have a fairly large yard area with many flower beds which need constant weed control. this unit does it.

Product does what it was advertised to do but not well. Minor negative is the noise. I didn't expect it to be noiseless but I also didn't expect the operating noise level of the pump to be as great as it is. Not a don't buy negative but it is a negative. The bad part is, after turning the unit on, every time you start spraying you get a big burst of material from the nozzle that quickly reduces to the setting you want. When you are going from plant to plant in a large bed, spraying the weeds individually, which is 85% of the type of spraying I do, I am wasting serious amounts of material. Pressure should remain constant from trigger pull to end of material. That is why I bought a unit with an electrical pump to do and this one does not. After a couple of uses I find the unit is now dripping material after releasing the trigger. Not much, but move the wand while this is happening and you kill something you don't want dead. Over all the product does as advertised, just not well and in a limited capacity. Guess I will use it to spray fertilizer instead of a herbicide. For this use it is great. I don't mind a little fertilizer getting on the weeds that have been freshly sprayed with a standard pump up sprayer. Really wish this thing worked better as my wrists could use a break from all that pumping using a standard sprayer. Could only recommend to purchase for limited use. Unfortunately that use was not what I wanted it for. Read full review

Enjoy using this sprayer over old hand pump designs. Battery life is long - I was able to spray 5-6 gallons on one of the smaller batteries. Two points to mention; 1) Pump is really not quite strong enough for continuous spraying with full pressure. Best suited for spot spraying, but will produce a continuous somewhat weaker stream. 2) As received, the pump on/off lever did not seal completely and there was a small dribble from the nozzle when the lever was released. Before returning I opened up the handle and replaced one of the O-rings and put a dab of silicon grease on it. That did the trick and no more leak. I would buy again.

These sprayers are so very convenient. I own three of them- one with Round up, one with weed-be-gone and one with Image. Each is marked with a permanent marker. That way, if I have product left after spraying, I just leave it and I don't have to worry about contaminating a sprayer with the wrong product.

Great little sprayer with high quality metal wand & brass spray head. The only thing I don't like is the switch location. If it were located in the handle that you carry it with it would be much more convenient to switch off and on. Beats the heck out of hand pump srayers. *UPDATE* : DISAPPOINTED..... after spraying 4 or 5 gallons the pump started leaking, thus pressure dropped and material is collecting in top of unit and dripping all over. Until then I was pretty impressed. Only choice is to return it to an authorized service center for repair. Bummer!
